Our Summer AAU Season is designed to bridge together every essential aspect of player growth - live competition, intrasquad and intersquad matchups, team practices, skill development, and competitive league play. This holistic approach ensures that athletes gain valuable game experience, master fundamental skills, and develop the basketball IQ necessary to compete at the highest levels.
We believe that true player development extends beyond just games. It requires a balance of training, competition, and strategic learning - allowing athletes to refine their individual skill sets while understanding how to operate within a team dynamic. Through our intensive training model and competitive play structure, we are focused on building complete basketball players who are prepared for the demands of high-level competition.
Join us for the inaugural season of our Summer AAU Program, open to 3rd-8th grade boys who attend or reside in an Oldham County High School district. This season will include:
Three-Day Preseason Training Camp to establish team concepts and foundational skills.
Weekly Team Practices to build chemistry, reinforce strategy, and prepare for competition.
Weekly Team Training Sessions focused on individual skill refinement and development.
Live Competition through structured league play and tournaments.

Pre-registration plays a critical role in shaping our Summer AAU program. It allows us to: gauge overall interest and the number of players at each age level, determine the final number of teams we can field within each division, ensure we have the necessary coaching staff in place to provide a quality experience for all participants.
Our goal is to create as many teams as player interest and staffing capacity allow. However, the final number of teams will depend on the availability of qualified coaches and ensuring we can maintain our high standards of player development and competition. If necessary, we will hold tryouts on June 2nd and June 4th to assess players and finalize team rosters.
To ensure maximum player development, meaningful game reps, and individualized coaching attention, each team will be limited to 8-9 players per roster. This structure allows athletes to receive consistent playing time, participate in high-repetition skill work, and develop a deeper understanding of team concepts and strategies.
We are always looking for dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate coaches to join our staff. Whether you are a former Oldham County High School basketball player, have previous coaching experience, or simply have a strong background in basketball, we encourage you to apply! Coaching at OCBC is an opportunity to mentor young athletes, develop future talent, and be part of a growing basketball community.
Interested applicants can submit their information through our "Coaches Application" on our website. Help us continue to build a strong foundation for basketball in Oldham County - apply today!
